Pageant Wagon Publishing
In 2011, a group of families gathered together to support each other in their first steps walking through the homeschool adventure path. Principle Approach Education teacher and homeschool mentor, Kathryn Ross, launched Constellation Academy with the mission to assist families in their teaching and learning goals with small, in-home class cooperatives and monthly seminar days to help tool parents in their calling as the primary educators in their children's lives.
Eventually, the families moved onto varied curriculums and homeschool cooperative groups, while Miss Kathy advanced her goals as a professional author, speaker, and independent publisher.
In 2014, Pageant Wagon Publishing was established with the publication of Miss Kathy's first picture book, Mother Chicken's Eggs: Choosing to Grow into Greater Things--book one of the Fable Springs Parables high concept picture books and study guides. Book two, Bugaboo-Bee's Bop: Patience for the Prize, followed in that series, along with drama tools, literacy journals, and two Christian non-fiction titles for women and creatives, Fragrant Fields: Poetic Reflections for Journaling, and The Gatekeeper's Key--a prophetically charged call to Christians to boldly step into God's destiny for their life in this critical season of history.
Today, Miss Kathy continues to expand the original vision of Constellation Academy as a private mentor serving gifted homeschool students in language arts and literature studies, as well as providing consulting services for homeschool families.
Pageant Wagon Publishing independently publishes Miss Kathy's original works, in addition to offering Book Shepherding Services for Christian women writers seeking editorial development and publication of their manuscripts.
An extention of the PWP Book Shepherding service is a focus on developing young storytellers and creative communicators through the Pageant Wagon Publishing Young Authors Collective.
